Every bag we roast carries the same promise: coffee with a story — sourced with care, roasted fresh in Oman, and shared the way coffee has always been shared here: generously.
It started with the roaster
Historia began as a roastery — a small operation built around one machine and one conviction: that Oman deserves specialty coffee roasted here, not shipped stale from somewhere else. We source green beans from farms and washing stations we trust — Ethiopia, Colombia, Kenya, Brazil and beyond — and roast them in small batches in Azaiba, Muscat.
Freshness is not a slogan
Look at any Historia bag and you will find a roast date stamped on it. That small stamp is our whole philosophy. Coffee is a fresh product, like bread — it peaks in the weeks after roasting, and we want you to taste it at its best. That is why we roast to order, and why your online order ships the day it is roasted.
From roastery to cafés
The roastery grew into a small family of cafés: our curbside spot in South Al Mawalih, our drive-through in Ibri Yard, and soon a new home in Azaiba, next to the roastery itself. Different places, same cup — dialled in daily by baristas who care about the details.
Made in Oman, made for Oman
We are proudly Omani. From competing at the Oman AeroPress Championship to serving qahwa-style hospitality in modern form, we believe specialty coffee and Omani generosity belong together. Whether you order beans to your door, pull up to the curb, or send a gift card to a friend — you are part of the story now.
Welcome to Historia. ☕
